Peel & Stick Series — Installation Guide (Dry application)

Dry application · Bubble-resistant technology · 2-year warranty

What you'll need

Your squeegee (or a credit card wrapped in a soft cloth), masking tape, a tape measure, a microfiber cloth, and rubbing alcohol (70%+ isopropyl). No water is used for this series.

Before you start

  1. Pick the right conditions. Install indoors or in shade, with the surface temperature between roughly 50–90°F (10–32°C). Avoid direct hot sun or freezing cold — temperature affects how the adhesive grabs.
  2. Clean the surface thoroughly. Wash the area with soap and water, dry it, then wipe with rubbing alcohol to remove all wax, grease, and polish. Any residue will weaken the bond. Let it dry completely.
  3. Dry-fit first. Hold the decal in place and use masking tape to mark the position. A strip of tape across the middle as a "hinge" lets you flip the decal up without losing your alignment.

Installation

  1. With the decal positioned and hinged, peel the paper backing away from the adhesive. Keep the decal from touching the surface until you're ready.
  2. Lay the decal onto the dry surface, working from your hinge line outward so it falls into place flat.
  3. Squeegee firmly from the center outward in overlapping strokes. Real pressure matters here — it's what activates the adhesive and pushes any air out through the bubble-resistant channels.
  4. Go over the entire decal a second time, pressing especially hard along all edges.
  5. Wait 5–15 minutes for the adhesive to set, then slowly peel the transfer tape back at a low angle (almost flat against the surface), not straight up. If any part of the design lifts with the tape, lay it back down, re-squeegee, and try again.

Tips & troubleshooting

  • A small trapped bubble can be pressed toward the nearest edge with the squeegee, or pricked with a pin and smoothed flat.
  • Pulling the transfer tape straight up is the most common cause of lifting — keep the angle low and go slow.

Care

Wait at least 24–48 hours before washing the truck. Hand washing is gentlest; if you use a pressure washer, keep it back and avoid spraying directly at the edges. The protective lamination guards against scratches, UV, and temperature swings, keeping the colors vibrant for years.

Warranty: 2 years. Removes cleanly with no residue or damage to your paint.

Premium Series — Installation Guide (Wet application)

The Premium Series uses a wet install. The water lets you slide the decal into perfect position before the adhesive sets — ideal for this larger, premium metallic graphic.

What you'll need

Your squeegee (or a cloth-wrapped credit card), a spray bottle filled with clean water (add one or two drops of dish soap to help repositioning), masking tape, a tape measure, a microfiber cloth, and rubbing alcohol (70%+ isopropyl).

Before you start

  1. Pick the right conditions. Work in shade with the surface between roughly 50–90°F (10–32°C). Avoid hot direct sun, which dries the water too fast.
  2. Clean the surface thoroughly. Wash with soap and water, dry, then wipe with rubbing alcohol to strip all wax, grease, and polish. Let it dry completely.
  3. Dry-fit first. With the transfer tape still on, hold the decal up and mark the position with masking tape so you know exactly where it goes.

Installation

  1. Spray the truck surface generously with water until it's fully wet.
  2. Peel the paper backing off the decal and spray the exposed adhesive side with water too. Both surfaces need to be thoroughly wet — this is what lets you slide and reposition.
  3. Place the wet decal onto the wet surface. While it's wet, gently slide it into your marked position.
  4. Once aligned, squeegee firmly from the center outward in overlapping strokes. You're pressing the water out from between the decal and the truck — keep working until the water is gone and the decal is flat.
  5. Press hard again along every edge.
  6. Wait 5–15 minutes, then slowly peel the transfer tape back at a low, almost-flat angle. If anything lifts, lay it back down, re-squeegee, and try again.

Tips & troubleshooting

  • Small bubbles after you remove the tape are normal — that's trapped water, not air. Don't pick at them. They evaporate on their own and disappear within about a week.
  • For stubborn water pockets, press gently from the center toward the nearest edge with your squeegee.
  • Because the install is wet, give it a little extra time before washing (see Care).

Care

Let the decal cure 48–72 hours before washing so the adhesive fully bonds and any remaining water clears. Hand washing is gentlest; keep pressure washers back and off the edges. The metallic finish shimmers with a silvery sheen in sunlight for a professional, factory-plus look, and the protective lamination shields it from scratches, UV, and temperature swings.

Warranty: 5 years — our longest. Removes cleanly with no residue or damage to your paint.

Diamond Series — Installation Guide (Dry application)

Dry application · Diamond-glitter finish · 3-year warranty

The Diamond Series is our highest-quality product and our closest match to a factory decal — vibrant colors that shimmer in the sun, with a fine diamond-like sparkle in the texture. It installs dry, the same clean, no-water method as our Peel & Stick Series.

What you'll need

Your squeegee (or a credit card wrapped in a soft cloth), masking tape, a tape measure, a microfiber cloth, and rubbing alcohol (70%+ isopropyl). No water is used for this series.

Before you start

  1. Pick the right conditions. Install in shade with the surface between roughly 50–90°F (10–32°C). Avoid hot direct sun or freezing cold.
  2. Clean the surface thoroughly. Wash with soap and water, dry, then wipe with rubbing alcohol to remove every trace of wax, grease, and polish. Let it dry completely.
  3. Dry-fit first. Hold the decal in place and mark it with masking tape. A tape "hinge" across the middle lets you flip the decal up while keeping your alignment.

Installation

  1. With the decal hinged in position, peel the paper backing away from the adhesive, keeping the decal off the surface until you're ready.
  2. Lay the decal onto the dry surface, working out from your hinge line so it settles flat.
  3. Squeegee firmly from the center outward in overlapping strokes. Firm pressure activates the adhesive and pushes air out through the bubble-resistant channels.
  4. Go over the whole decal a second time, pressing extra hard along all edges.
  5. Wait 5–15 minutes for the adhesive to set, then slowly peel the transfer tape back at a low, almost-flat angle — never straight up. If any of the design lifts, lay it back down, re-squeegee, and retry.

Tips & troubleshooting

  • Press small bubbles toward the nearest edge with your squeegee, or prick with a pin and smooth flat.
  • Keep the transfer-tape angle low and pull slowly — this is the #1 way to avoid lifting.

Care

Wait 24–48 hours before washing. Hand washing is gentlest; keep pressure washers back and off the edges. The fine diamond-glitter texture and vibrant color stay brilliant thanks to the high-quality protective lamination, which guards against scratches, UV, and temperature swings.

Warranty: 3 years. Removes cleanly with no residue or damage to your paint.

‼️ Important Note: ‼️

Do not use on trucks treated with wax, ceramic coatings, or shine-enhancing sprays. These chemicals will prevent the decal from sticking properly.
